Dutch Braided Headband (SHORT HAIR holiday party hairstyle)

Hello hello everyone! Sabrina here. Since Christmas is coming so fast, I thought it would be fun to show you a DIY holiday hairstyle! This hairstyle works great with short hair, and also looks fabulous on long hair as well. Let’s get started!

Items needed: 2 tiny hair elastics, 5-6 bobby pins (as needed) ~~ time needed: 5-8 mins Difficulty: easy

************************

1.) Start by parting your hair into a side part. You can even do a middle part if you would like to, I just prefer a side part for this style.

2.) Then grab a section of hair a few inches behind your hairline. Do a dutch braid. You can see how to do a dutch braid by going to this postIMG_8134

3.) Pancake the dutch braid, so that it looks fuller. Then repeat step 2-3 on the other side.

4.) Pick up a section of hair and bobby pin your braid underneath it. (the hair you picked up will cover the end of the braid and bobby pins.) Repeat this step on the other side.

And there you have it! I love this hairstyle because it is easy and fast. It’s also perfect for a holiday party or just as a regular day hairstyle!
