Hello Everyone and welcome back!
Today I am going to show how to do these DIY double dutch braided ponytails!
They are perfect for back to school and sports! Even though I am only now posting a tutorial on this hairstyle, I have been doing it on myself for 6+ months… basically ever since my hair became long enough to do them.
Lets get started!
****************************
Items needed: 2 hair bands (or two small hair elastics if they will hold your hair), 2-4 bobby pins // Time needed: 5-10 minutes // Difficulty: easy
****************************
1.) Start by separating your hair into a middle part and tying off one of the sides with a hair band to get it out of the way.
2.) Grab a small section of hair from the front and divide it into three equal sections. Do a dutch-braid, but stop braiding once you reach the nape of your neck and secure with a hair band.
3.) Repeat on the other side.
4.) grab a small section of hair from underneath one of the ponytails and wrap it around the band and bobby pin in place. Repeat on the other pony tail.
aaaand that’s it! Here are the final pictures!
I hope you enjoyed this hairstyle! Be sure to leave a comment below and subscribe to this blog! Also, if you have any hairstyle requests, please leave them here!
see ya!

Note to self: learn how to Dutch braid.
Here’s a little video I made doing a DIY dutch braid a while ago, if it’ll help you: https://videos.files.wordpress.com/bjgkKTeT/diy-dutch-braid1_dvd.mp4 😉
yesss they are so so beautiful and I would almost always prefer doing a dutch braid rather than a french braid…well in most cases anyways hehe XD
Same here! I will basically always choose a dutch braid over any other braid, (if you couldn’t already tell 😛 😉 .)
Yesss I think it’s so funny that pretty much all of my hairstyles include a Dutch braid XD
