DIY Dutch Waterfall Braid

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

I’m going to show you how to dutch waterfall braid today. When I first saw this braid years ago I automatically thought that it was done exactly like a french waterfall braid, only you just switched to a dutch braid instead. Well let me tell you I was completely wrong on this one. It’s a very different technique to a normal waterfall braid, and it can seem confusing and a bit tricky at first (especially if you already know how to do a normal waterfall braid) but once you get the hang of it, it’s really not too hard and it looks pretty cool too! 😉

While I have pretty long hair at the moment, I think this type of hairstyle will work in pretty much most lengths (short hair included! 😉 )

Items needed: 1-2 small rubber hair ties.

Time: 5-10 minutes

Difficulty: medium- hard

I can include written steps as well if anyone wants them (just let me know down in the comments), but it’s harder to explain in writing so I think just my video will make more sense. 😉

Here are the final pictures:

Please leave a comment down below-we love hearing from you all! 😉 Also, let me know if you try this hairstyle out, I’d love to know how it worked for you!
