DIY Boho Braids

Hey everybody!

Today I’m going to show you how to do a really simple, unique hairstyle: boho braids.

I really like this hairstyle because it’s really great for those days when you don’t have a lot of time, and need to do something quick. I also added in some cute accents on the side, which are especially helpful for any of you with fringe/bangs.

Difficulty: easy

Time needed: 5 minutes

Items needed: 2 hairbands, 2 small clips

Step-by-step instructions:

1.) Part hair in a side part. On the side with less hair, grab a 1″ strand of hair near the top of your head.

2.) Twist the strand and pull it back towards the crown of your head. Secure with a small clip.

3.) Then, take another 1″ section right below the last. Twist the strand and pull it back towards the crown. Secure with a clip right under the first.

4.) Make a middle part from the crown of your head to the nape of your neck.

5.) Braid both sections into two basic three-strand braids. Secure the braid halfway. (See pictures for reference.)

6.) Pancake the braids to your liking. To pancake, gently pull the outer edges of the braid.

…and that’s it! I love this hairstyle because it’s so effortless and is really fast to do. Special thanks to Sabrina, for taking the photos for me. 😉
