DIY Double Dutch Buns + SGH 2 Year Anniversary

Hello Everyone!

Today I am very excited to show you a tutorial on my double dutch buns hairstyle. This is a hairstyle that I have been wearing for probably about a year or more. It is very versatile, and even on the worst bad hair days it never lets me down.

Before we get started I’d like to mention that today is the two year mark since the founding of Seton Girls Hairstyles! Time has really flown by, and on behalf of all the SGH staff, I’d like to say that we are so grateful for this opportunity to share the gift of hairstyling. < 3

Now on to the hairstyle!

********************

Time needed: 5-10 minutes, Difficulty: medium, Items needed: 2 hair elastics, 5-10 bobby pins (as needed)

********************

1.) I’m starting out the hairstyle with half of it already done. To begin, start by parting your hair into a middle part.

2.) Starting from the front, being doing a dutch braid straight back until you reach the nape of your neck. IMG_8595

3.) Instead of tying off the braid here, do a pull through messy bun.

It should look something like this.

4.) Grab pieces of the bun and bobby pin them down to create the shape you want. You might need to adjust the first bun to make them look even.
