DIY Double Twist Ponytail + 200 Followers

Hi everyone!

I have a really quick and easy ponytail style to show you today. It’s great because it’ll only take you a minute or so to do (a great one to do in your car or when you’re on the go.) And is perfect to jazz up a regular ponytail, which will make you instantly look put together!

This hairstyle will work on most lengths of hair, as long as you can put your hair into a ponytail. 😉

Also, as a side note, we just hit 200 followers on SGH this week, so a big thanks to all our subscribers! 🙂

******************************

Items needed: 2-4 bobby pins, a hair tie, and optional: a hair scarf (or scrunchie)

Time: 2-3 minutes

Difficulty: Easy

******************************

Step-by-step instructions:

1.) To start off with, I parted my hair slightly to one side. (A middle part will work just as well.)

2.) Next, just pick up a section of hair from one side of your part (about an inch in size), and softly twist towards the middle of you head.

3.) Spread the end of the twist down flat where you want to pin it in place (about the spot where you want to tie your hair into a ponytail.) And pin down to secure, buy laying one bobby pin (bumpy side down) across the section, and then another crisscrossed in the opposite direction. (You may only need one pin if you have thin hair.)

4.) Repeat the exact same steps on the opposite side of you part..

5.) Now gather the rest of you hair into a ponytail and secure with a hair tie. Don’t worry if you can still see the bobby pins, you can try and hide them a bit with your hair or just leave them as is. 😉

Optional: to finish off the hairstyle, and make it look a little more cute, I added a hair scarf. You could also use a scrunchie, or hair ribbon to finish off the style, which would look great too!

Annd you’re done!

That’s all I have for you today! Let me know if you’d give this hairstyle a go, as well as any hair-related post requests down in the comments!
